Sudocrem Moisturising Mousse {Review}

I've always suffered with dry skin and Psorasis, which mostly flares up when I am stressed or worried about something. Since having Harry my arms have become very dry and quite sore.

The boys also both suffer with dry skin, mostly on their legs. Charles was diagnosed with "possibly eczema" and this is around his bottom and the top of his legs. When he was in nappies we swore by Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream and it would clear it up either instantly or within a couple of applications.

I've always been a fan of Sudocrem and in the past have used it on my own skin when I've had a spot or if I've been sunburnt. My husband also uses it for sunburn and for his hands which sometimes get incredibly dry, so much so that they bleed. We also use it for gnat or mosquito bites!

When we were offered some Sudocrem Moisturising Mousse to review I jumped at the chance.
The mousse is initially aimed at kids and babies but I wanted to use it on my arms aswell. I like to test products on myself before I used them on the children.

My first concerns were whether or not the mousse would be as thick as the antiseptic healing cream and therefore not rub in properly. I also worried about how safe it was incase the boys were to get their hands on it. A problem I've always found with the nappy cream is that the top comes off too easily and quickly results in this: (of course we are also to blame for leaving it within his reach....and please excuse the full nappy)

 I can gladly say that we have had no problems with the children having a repeat of the above. They have both grabbed the can and tried to take the lid off and spray the mousse. They have been unsuccessful in both areas, which is great!

The mousse absorbs well into the skin and leaves no white marks where it hasn't rubbed in well. I found that with regular use my arms cleared up and were less itchy.

The mousse also helped to clear up the boys legs. Charles loved the mousse and helped me to rub it into his legs and applied it to Harrys legs and feet too.
We found it was easy to spread and a little went along way, this was reassuring as at £8.99 it's a little more than we would normally pay. It is definitely worth the price though and is something we will use in the future.

We were sent some Sudocrem Moisturising Mousse to review but as with all reviews the words above are my own and are not influenced.
